Choose QUALITY Vitamins
As a family physician who regularly recommends nutritional supplements to promote health and wellness, I am really impressed with the quality and quantity of information presented in this book. I particularly appreciate the creation of a "Blended Standard" benchmark that incorporated the expertise of a panel of clinicians and researchers. Although the writing shows thorough research and understanding of science, both consumers and health care providers will find the book useful and easy to read. THANK-YOU Mr MacWilliams for a great book!
Book Review
The information contained in this reference guide is one of the best I have seen based on the complexity of subject matter. The conclusions reached are explained in great detail and dose indeed reflect an opinion based on the research compiled by the broad list of professionals contained therein. Everyone can read the material and conduct his or her own independent research for accuracy of statements regarding the basis of conclusions reached, qualifications of listed personnel, as well as any other facet of the subject matter. A careful look at the conclusions will clearly reveal manufactures that produce some very good products. This book clearly presents the reasons why they have adopted what is known as "the blended standard" so obviously any company, (and there are more than a few) that meet and or exceed these standards and do well in this particular guide. Where a comparison is made and a standard is used there is always some bias and rightly so as this is a representation of...
Get to the bottom of all the confusion...
This is sort of the 'Consumer Reports' approach to sorting out the various products that are available. A comprehensive and scientific method of evaluating hundreds (1500, actually!) of products, all of which claim to be 'the best'. I sell nutritional supplements and was delighted to find that my products are among the very few ranked as the best in this evaluation!!I have read criticism of this book by some who are concerned that there was a connection between the author, MacWilliams, and the USANA company, which is the one of the very few "Top-Rated" products (MacWilliams himself acknowledges that he is a consultant for several manufacturers). After reviewing the evaluation methodology, and considering that products from 5 other manufacturers, with which MacWilliams has no relationship whatsoever (as far as I can determine) are also "Top-Ranked", I think it is clear that there is no indication whatsoever of any conflict of interest. Some have criticized that one of the...

WELLNESS IS DOING WELL

Could a Chula Vista nutrition-supplement company be the next Herbalife?

Steve Wallach thinks so. He’s the CEO of Youngevity Essential Life Sciences, which develops and sells health and wellness products — liquid supplements, weight-loss regimens and skin creams — through independent distributors who mainly work from home.

The company’s most popular product is Beyond Tangy Tangerine, a citrus-flavored drink mix packed with vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It also sells the ThighMaster Toning System and other products by Suzanne Somers. And one of its newer products is a “functional gourmet coffee” enhanced with certain nutrients.

“It’s not just about length of life, it’s about quality of life,” Wallach said. “If there’s a silver lining to the poor economy, it’s that people seem to be taking better care of themselves.”

Sponsored Supplement - Fulfillment: New ways to drive efficiency

Once she clicks the Buy button, the typical online shopper doesn't give a second thought to how the order will be fulfilled. She simply expects the goods she ordered to show up by the promised date, with the items she specified in good shape.

Living up to that expectation is especially important for online retailers who don't have the face-to-face contact with shoppers that physical-world merchants do. E-retailers must win consumers' confidence by meeting expectations, and one of the best ways to build customer loyalty is to deliver the goods on time, accurately and intact. Orders that arrive late, incomplete or damaged frustrate consumers and undermine a retailer's credibility.

Living up to the promise of order accuracy and prompt delivery requires e-retailers to coordinate a lot of moving parts, from the layout of their warehouses to ensuring efficient picking and packing, negotiating the best possible rates with package carriers and providing a simple way for a customer to return an item.

Eating for Life, Your Guide to Great Health, Fat Loss and Increased Energy!

The popular fitness author explains how to achieve a healthy lifestyle and avoid dieting by planning balanced, nutritious meals and offers 150 nourishing recipes for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and desserts.
About this book
"Phillips, who's widely regarded as today's most successful fitness author, has firm beliefs which go against the grain of today's popular weight-loss methods. ""Diets, all of them, are potentially dangerous, most always dumb and ultimately a dead-end street!"" he insists. ""Eventually, anyone and everyone who's at all concerned with their health must learn how to feed their body, not how to starve it."" Instead, Phillips encourages a safe and sound solution which includes eating balanced, nutrient-rich...

Supplement warehouse?

Anyone ever used supplementwarehouse.com to buy anything and they say they give you 5% less than any other companies.Does this work or is this a trap. When i put like $2 for a item which cost 90$ they say it would be 1.95$.I dont believe that.Does anyone

It sounds like the supplement warehouse is full of crap. I never tried it, but fitrx.com and bodybuilding.com are really good websites. Good luck

Has anyone ever used the supplement warehouse website to buy protein or creatine?

They are really cheap, but I don't want to get scammed.

Perhaps protein from reputable and reliable source will be the best. Buy it only from reliable retailer (GNC, Bodybuilding Shop) or from reputable online distributor, which cares about its name.
