Probably you should take this one to your vet... but generally, bute is an ok short-term pain reliever/anti -inflammatory. Banamine is good for immediate pain relief but should only be used when absolutely necessary. I like boswellia instead of bute,

I am 39 weeks and 3 days and I'm expecting him to come anytime soon but I can't make my mind up about pain relief during labor. What did you take or did you go natural? I'm scared of an epidural, but I'm also scared of pain!
